OpenOLAT should allow exchange of information on a peer level. For that purpose, peers can find them via the user search and then request to be connected (as known from facebook, LinkedIn, Xing etc).
Workflow
- Go to "my peers" or the chat tool
- Search for user based on known email, firstname, lastname or other configured properties
- Send connection request or chat message (which will automatically include a connection request)
- Peer gets request, says yes or no
my peers
- Address book
- List of users with whom I am connected
- Export to CSV, includes information that user released for each peer
Chat
- Chat shows peer list: online/offine
- Add button to add a user from any of my groups (list of todays online users). Will trigger connection request
- Search field to search for any OO user
