OpenOlat 14 has a new branding. The blue has been replaced with a more greenish blue, the logo has been refined and a new font has been added.
The default theme has been changed to OpenOlat so new installations have a more appealing theme out of the box. The light theme is still there and serves as the base for all other themes.
Minor tweeks in the UI are made to improve overall usability:
- no more use of brand color in courses and catalog listing
- subtile background on form input and buttons and other enclosed elements
- consistent color of bookmark icon
- nicer "no preview" icon without text
With release 14 we switch from the uppercase notation to a normal notation: OpenOLAT becomes OpenOlat. This makes it more readable, aligns the wording with the infinite-icon and respects the fact that most of your users write it that way already now.
