      Description

In OpenOLAT, variables are available in various places, which are used in e-mail templates, for example to make them more appealing. But it is not yet possible to use the variables in the e-mail course element.

The use of the following variables is to be implemented in the e-mail module:

      • Course variables
        • $courseurl
        • $coursedescription
        • $course name
      • User variables
        • $firstname
        • $lastname
        • $username

All variables can be used both in the subject and in the message field of the e-mail / e-mail template.

The user variables refer to the user who triggers the e-mail in the e-mail module (i.e. clicks on "Send").

For support, a corresponding reference is made in the manual to the use of the variables in the e-mail module. (Link follows when space is created)
