Open education resources (OER) are popular nowadays, namely in the academic world. There are dedicates repositories and services that serve as a data hub for open and sharable educational resources.
The goal of this epic is to integrate such OER repository in OpenOLAT to import and export resources of all kind:
- OpenOLAT learning resources (course, wiki, vide etc) in the authoring site
- OpenOLAT QTI2 question items in the test editor and question pool site
- Files such as images, videos, PDF's etc everywhere in OpenOLAT where files are relevant such as the folder component, task course element, Single-Page editor etc.
The most important repository for such resources in the academic Europe is eduSharing platform. EduSharing has already connectors to other LMS and is actively used and promoted by many universities that also use OpenOLAT. While the API needed in OpenOLAT to allow integrating of such as system should be generic, the implementation focuses on eduSharing. Other implementations could be implemented in the future, e.g. OpenOLAT as a shared repository for other OpenOLAT installation, however this is not part of this epic for now.
