Data collection generators is the heart of OpenFeedback: With a kind of two steps Configuration the quality manager is configuring the "poll generator" according his quality measurement needs.
First step:
Creating a new data collection generator leads you to a selection of actually 4 main Levels on which i can allocate a continuous
data collection:
- course
- lectures of a coach in a course
- lecture of a coach in a course (follow-up survey)
- curiculum element
Second step:
Depending which level one have selected under step one the field set in step two is slightly different.
Main Information needed to start a valid data collection generator are:
- Title
- Questionnaire (selected from learning resources)
- Org. selection
- Titel of the data collection
- Topic
- Min. and max Lectures for Teachers evaluation
- Start of the data collection
- Time within a lecture block e.g. value 45 block x = 12: means 45 Minutes before the end of the 12th lecture
- data collection duration (time window during one can participate on a specific poll)
- Invitation, Reminder 1 and 2 relative date
- Participants roles
Whitelist:
One can start with OpenFeedback only with one or two Curriculum to check if the chosen setup is working as planned; therefore one can use the whitelist functionality
Generator on-off:
After configuring a data collection generator one shall enable the generator; doing so one can chose date and time from which on the generator shall start to create data collections. An enabled generator can also be paused by choosing the disable functionality
