If one course owner finishes or deletes a course, other course owners will not be notified.
Therefore an e-mail workflow shall be implemented to automatically inform other course owners about the course life-cycle modification.
An additional option "Enforce e-mail notification" can be activated in the administration. This setting applies to the entire OpenOLAT instance and for all course finish/delete dialogs.
The e-mail notification to owner is preselected in the dialog.
- authors/owners cannot change it
- system administrators can change it
If the course-life-cycle is managed automatically, an e-mail notification is only sent to all owners if the corresponding setting is activated in the administration.
