Search results in course and authoring search aren't kept for revisiting

When searching something the courses and the authoring search, the search results are displayed as expected. After opening one of the results though and navigating back, expecting to find the results of the previous search, the user only finds the empty search box. Neither using the "Back" button in the breadcrumb navigation or clicking on the respective tab produces the former search results. The user always has to repeat his search, if he wishes to browse the results. And again.
Search results should be kept for a while, just like in the old system.
